WTXL-TV 27 is bringing their ROAD-TRIP to BAINBRIDGE!

The WTXL-TV 27 ROAD TRIP is coming to Bainbridge! Tune in EVERY NIGHT this week at 6pm to see interviews with people from our town!  TONIGHT, Monday, will feature City Councilwoman ROSLYN PALMER speaking about the history of Bainbridge and giving a short tour of the History Museum located Downtown!   Tuesday night you will want to tune in and catch the story about Mainstreets of Bainbridge featuring Amanda Glover and Jessica Allen.  Wednesday’s story is about Champion Bass Angler and local gal, Pam Martin-Wells.  On Thursday night Roslyn Palmer will be back giving us a tour of Oak City Cemetery.  And Friday is a SPECIAL DAY…WTXL will be broadcasting LIVE from Bainbridge and we want you to be part of the fun!  Start your day with us from 5am to 7:30am at BETTY’S on Dothan Road.  The band, CALIBER, will be playing to get our day off to a great start.  Can’t make it that early?  Then stop by ISAAC’S on Broad Street from 12pm to 1pm for another live news show.  AND…make sure you’re downtown in WILLIS PARK beginning at 5pm for the evening news.  Stick around and enjoy a Classic Car Show and a Block Party featuring DRY, WEATHER, SUN!  If you have any questions, give Julie Harris a call at 229-515-0022!

HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE SCHEDULED FOR NOVEMBER 20

The City of Bainbridge is kicking off the 2011 holiday season with Holiday Open House on Sunday, November 20.  Local merchants will be open and offer great gifts and awesome deals from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. 

Once again, Mary Barber Cox will be in Willis Park signing ornaments for everyone!  This year’s ornament features Riverside Hospital.  Ornaments will be available at Holiday Open House, but you can purchase them now at City Hall in the Community Development Office.  Individual ornaments are $8.00, or you can purchase the full set of Bainbridge ornaments for $168. 

This year’s Holiday Open House Participants are: The Bean Cafe, Belk, Bella’s Boutique, Clark’s Hidden Treasures, Curves, Factory Connection, Isabee’s Children’s Apparel & The Hair Works, J&L Gift Shop, Jacobik Antique Gallery, The Jagged Edge Salon, Kres Jewlers, L.T.L Flowers & Gifts, Polka Dots Gift Shop, Reca Wear, Reeves Linens & Gifts, Sharon House Antiques, Southern Trading Company & Pawn, Special Occasions, The Sweet Spot, and The Tanning Company & Tina Brock Gifts.  The Firehouse Center & Gallery will also be participating, holding their annual Bizarre Bazaar during the event.

Pumpkins in the Park

Monday, October 31 was a spooktacular day in downtown Bainbridge! Pumpkins in the Park was held in Willis Park with hundred attended for the hayrides, costume contest, games and of course, trick or treating.  Thank you to everyone who participated!
