Bainbridge City Councilman Luther Conyers presents Natasha Wood of Bainbridge with the 16 GB Apple iPad she won as part of a raffle to raise money for the Georgia Mayors’ Christmas Motorcade. The Mayors’ Motorcade, sponsored by the Georgia Municipal Association, gives Christmas gifts to patients in mental health and retardation hospitals throughout the state. Representatives from the City of Bainbridge, including Councilman Conyers, took gathered donations to Southwestern State Hospital in Thomasville, Ga., on Dec. 13. Conyers said that $2,130 was raised through the raffle and other private donations.
